Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor (QS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and would be responsible for ensuring compliance standards are met, and signing off certifications from EICRs and installations carried out. This role will also involve occasionally visiting properties for post inspections and shadowing operatives to ensure they are working to standards. While this role is primarily an on the tools job, occasional site visits will be required.

Your installation works will be managed for you, but you will be expected to plan and prioritise your QS tasks – time will be given for this as and when required.

You will have good communication skills with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities (as and when required):

• Oversee completed jobs and ensure compliance standards are met
• Conduct visual checks of photographs provided by electricians and verify the accuracy of certifications from and installation and EICR’s.
• Visit properties to conduct post work inspections and shadow operatives to ensure standards are maintained.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with current British standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

Experience & Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent. – City and Guilds 2382-18 or equivalent.
• Valid Driving Licence.
• In Date ECS Card.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
• 2391 Test and Inspection certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical installation.
• Strong understanding of EICR processes and requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Confidence and knowledge to enrol on our NICEIC as a QS.
